The Katooni was a ZH-40 Tribune-class light freighter that had been altered from its original design, and it belonged to the pirate known as Hondo Ohnaka.
Originally a ZH-40 Tribune-class light freighter produced by Starfeld Industries, the Katooni was the personal vessel of the Weequay pirate Hondo Ohnaka. Ohnaka utilized it within his organization, Ohnaka Transport Solutions. The vessel's name came from Katooni, the Jedi youngling whom Ohnaka encountered during the era of the Clone Wars. As a light freighter, this ship featured a primary cargo hold capable of carrying 85 metric tons, with further storage possible through cargo grippers attached to the two pod-like arms extending from the hull. Driven by four Novaldex JV-74 engines, the Katooni provided accommodations for a pilot plus four additional crew members. For defense, the Katooni was equipped with weaponry, including a heavy laser cannon, several standard laser cannons, and a turret with four barrels.
