A lightsaber pike with a blue blade was the personal weapon of Kazdan Paratus, an Aleena Jedi Master. To wield it with lethal accuracy via his constructed arms, the Aleena Jedi needed his lightsaber pike after he constructed his mechanical legs for rapid movement.
Paratus seldom engaged in the Clone Wars following its commencement in 22 BBY with the battle of Geonosis; instead, he would dissect battle droids in his Jedi Temple chambers after using aggressive pike swings to cut them down. When Darth Vader arrived to begin Operation: Knightfall during 19 BBY, Paratus ran away in fear, taking some possessions, including his lightsaber pike. In the seclusion of a makeshift Jedi Temple he constructed on Raxus Prime, Paratus had little need for his weapon until 3 BBY, when Galen Marek, a clandestine Sith apprentice, arrived to assassinate him. Paratus used the Force extensively while battling with his lightsaber pike, but ultimately, he was slain, and his lightsaber's focusing crystal lens was damaged beyond repair. Following this, Starkiller discarded the lightsaber pike after failing to repair it through meditation.
