Keesa served as the Pa'lowick assistant to Dama Whitesun Brunk at the Sidi Driss Inn, located in Anchorhead. During the year 8 ABY, Imperial remnant forces conducted a raid on the town, seeking the renowned moss-painting known as Killik Twilight. Keesa was assaulted by these troops during this event. As a result of their behavior towards her, the troops were disciplined by their warlord, who was secretly Grand Admiral Thrawn. Thrawn also offered Keesa an apology for the way she was treated.
