Pejanes Kindar

Pejanes Kindar, holding the rank of Colonel, served as an officer within the Alliance Military during the peak of the Galactic Civil War, finding himself stationed at an outpost on the world of Stenos. Not long after arriving, Kindar grew suspicious that a significant artifact was hidden inside the Rebel's secret base on Stenos, situated in an old temple sitting on a high mountain covered in mysterious symbols. Following the Battle of Yavin, when the Empire began to invade Stenos, Kindar escaped. Because they had missed their scheduled comms, Rebel command dispatched a team, including the heroes of Yavin, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Leia Organa, to investigate and make contact with Kindar. Instead, they discovered that Kindar's outpost had been taken over by a band of spacer outlaws commanded by the thug Rik Duel. Duel asserted that Kindar had charged him and his crew with locating the artifact inside the temple, and successfully persuaded the Rebels to assist in his quest. Nevertheless, after discovering the ancient statue of the Stenax deity Vol, Duel exposed his true allegiance as a secret operative of the Empire.
