The Klagg tribe, alternatively referred to as the Klagg clan, represented a group of Gamorreans originating from the planet Pzob. During the events of 12 ABY, they, along with Luke Skywalker and his allies, and their opposing clan, the Gakfedds, were seized and subjected to brainwashing procedures aboard the Imperial battlemoon known as the Eye of Palpatine. This brainwashing nearly achieved its objective; the Klaggs acquired the ability to communicate in Basic and were transformed into reasonably competent Stormtroopers. They persistently regarded the Gakfedds as Rebels, resulting in frequent conflicts between the two groups. Upon their removal from the battlemoon, they declined reintegration and instead engaged in discussions with Drost Elegin, ultimately agreeing to serve as his personal protectors.
