Korden Outfitting and Surveying was a commercial enterprise founded around 12,000 BBY by the merchant Haddius Korden, and it focused on providing supplies for colonists. The Korden family later began to directly invest in fledgling colonies, which led to the common occurrence of Korden Outfitting and Surveying stores being set up in newly established settlements. Near the end of the Galactic Republic's existence, the noble Prince Tavin Korden held the position of head of Korden Outfitting and Surveying.
