KPR security droid

The KPR security droid, which is also referred to as the KPR servant droid, represented a relatively uncomplicated droid model manufactured by Lerrimore Droids. These droids achieved widespread usage across Outer Rim planets, with Tatooine being a prime example.

A distinguishing feature was the colored dome (typically white or green) situated atop its wheeled chassis. The utilization of KPR units centered around security applications, owing to their capabilities in activating alarms, executing diagnostic procedures, and managing security-related infrastructure such as lighting and perimeter fences at isolated facilities.

Owen Lars incorporated a KPR unit into his Moisture farm operations. Furthermore, several KPR droids were present within the sandcrawler responsible for the apprehension of C-3PO and R2-D2.
