Kshyy vines were a type of plant that thrived on the wroshyr trees located on Kashyyyk. As a offering to a terentatek, the Wookiees would suspend sacrifices from these vines. Remarkably, these vines possessed self-repairing properties, rendering them impervious to damage, even from blaster fire.
On Kashyyyk, kshyy vines served to both hold and move liftcars in a vertical direction. While these vines were susceptible to damage or breakage from unchecked fungi and parasites, the cars were equipped with repulsorlifts to serve as a fail-safe.
