Kuna's Gullet was a star of the supergiant variety, and the Ayrou, the native species of the planet Maya Kovel in the Moddell sector, regarded it as belonging to the Kuna constellation. The majority of the constellation's stars resided in the Moddell sector close to Maya Kovel, with the exception of three stars: Kuna's Gullet, Kuna's Heart, and Kuna's Scale. These three bright stars, despite appearing close to the rest of the constellation, were actually situated in either neighboring sectors or Wild Space.
The article titled "Endor and the Moddell Sector," featured in the ninth issue of the Star Wars Gamer magazine, which was released on February 22, 2002, made reference to Kuna's Heart.
