The Kuras Asteroid Belt, situated in the Kuras system within the Elrood sector, was an asteroid belt of notable size. This belt circled the main star, Kuras, existing in the space between the planets Kuras III and Kuras IV. Navigating the Kuras system was complicated by the existence of this asteroid belt. Legend has it that the Galactic Republic's initial exploratory probe was lost in the belt, resulting in the system's absence from the majority of galactic maps and the consequent lack of knowledge about its planets.
