During 22 BBY, Boba Fett sought employment with Jabba. Kurjj was initially given the order to eliminate Fett, but Fett's persistence resulted in a meeting with the crime boss. Upon Fett's rejection of the Hutt's terms, Kurjj moved to eliminate him. He unsheathed his litch-knife and attempted to stab the young Mandalorian, but Boba Fett's superior speed allowed him to overcome the guard. Subsequently, Kurjj was hauled away to become food for Jabba's pit creatures.
