Lamarecc was a giant gaseous planet, specifically a gas giant, situated within the Lamaro system. Its orbit placed it in close proximity to the system's central sun, named Lamaro, and it also orbited near the first planet in the system, Lamarebb.
Approximately every fourteen years, Lamarebb and Lamarecc would draw incredibly close to one another, nearly touching. This close approach resulted in a spectacular light display in the skies of Lamaredd, the third planet of the system, as well as disrupting communications.
Similar to the naming conventions of other planets within the system, it is likely that Lamarecc derived its name from an entry found on an ancient star map.
