The group known as Lambda group consisted of seven Lambda-class T-4a shuttles that were the property of individuals from the Leafar species. During a business excursion, Lambda group, along with Yavin Express and _Cargo-Go, found themselves in a convoy that was ambushed by the forces of the Galactic Empire. With assistance from the Alliance to Restore the Republic, some of the shuttles were able to get away.
