Larrad Shrike, sibling to Garris Shrike, was a large and towering Human man. He carried a blaster as part of his duties. Because Shrike held the rank of officer, he had permission to carry weapons on the Trader's Luck. During young Han Solo's getaway, Shrike sustained serious injuries at the hands of the Wookiee named Dewlanna while on the Trader's Luck. In a fit of anger, Dewlanna grabbed his arm, pulling and wrenching it violently. The sounds of tearing tendons and ligaments echoed as they broke. Later, when Garris Shrike located Solo on Coruscant, he commented on the lasting impact of Larrad Shrike's injury caused by Dewlanna, stating he was forever changed by the event.
