Laser scythe

The laser scythe, a type of energy-based armament, was installed on the scythe harvester. Visually, it appeared as an elongated lightsaber connected to a robotic limb. This laser scythe served the purpose of creating clearings for the harvester and was also capable of felling opposing soldiers.

In a battle that took place on an agricultural satellite – a farming moon – orbiting the planet Kashyyyk, laser scythes were deployed to obliterate a number of LAAT/i gunships. Grand Master Yoda, upon taking control of one of the two scythe harvesters present, directed its laser scythe at the other harvester, resulting in its destruction.
