Last Call was a revamped Ginivex-class starfighter presented to Asajj Ventress by Count Dooku after Obi-Wan Kenobi absconded with her prior starfighter on Rattatak. These personalized Fanblade fighters were notoriously costly for the Confederacy of Independent Systems to produce, and Dooku reportedly resented needing to furnish Ventress with replacement ships.
Last Call incorporated cutting-edge Geonosian technology, along with a unique "gemcutter" acquired illicitly from Carbanti United Electronics. This device could sense the distortions in space-time created by vessels entering or exiting hyperspace, granting the pilot roughly five seconds of advance notice regarding approaching ships or those initiating a jump to lightspeed. The fighter also featured external pods capable of transporting as many as eighteen Confederacy assassin droids.
During the era of the Clone Wars, Ventress detained Palleus Chuff aboard Last Call as she embarked on a mission to locate Grand Master Yoda prior to his scheduled rendezvous with Dooku on Vjun. Chuff successfully made his escape, and initiated the starfighter's self-destruction sequence while over Phindar, compelling Ventress to seek an alternative method of travel to Vjun.
