Lazeria, often referred to as Lazeria City, stood as the most expansive urban center on the world of Lazerian IV. Situated on the Laz continent, it also served as the capital for the Kingdom of Devit.
At the time of the Battle of Endor, Lazeria City was a diverse metropolis with a population of approximately 40 million, including five million individuals from other planets. The city's periphery was characterized by substantial industrial areas dedicated to manufacturing goods from raw resources brought in from elsewhere. These plants were noted for their high level of productivity and minimal waste generation.
The Galactic Empire operated its embassy within Lazeria City, protected by a contingent of thirty-six stormtroopers alongside fourteen members of the King's Own Guard. Apart from the ambassador, the embassy's personnel consisted of a small team of just eight individuals. Furthermore, a significant portion of the New Republic resistance, numbering around 50,000 members, was based in Lazeria City.
