Life-crystal tree

On the world of Rafa V, there existed life-crystal trees. These trees were the source of the life-crystals that were collected from them. It was a common belief that life-crystals could prolong one's lifespan and enhance well-being. However, the truth was that excessive exposure to life-crystals only resulted in a decline in mental capacity. During the year 4 BBY, the Toka people, who were native to Rafa V, bound Lando Calrissian to one of these life-crystal trees, intending for him to die.
