Life Detection

Life Detection, or prima vitae in the ancient High Galactic tongue, represented a fundamental Force power rooted in the Sense ability. This power enabled a Force-sensitive individual to perceive the existence of living organisms or entities, pinpointing their locations from considerable distances.

Description

Upon directing their senses towards a specific area or individual, even across vast distances, the Force-sensitive would immediately be alerted by Life Detection. Furthermore, by analyzing the life signatures, the Force user could discern whether another being was an ally or an enemy. However, this assessment was subject to change based on shifts in the other being's disposition towards the user. The life signatures of amicable companions or residents typically emanated a comforting warmth, easily differentiated from the hostile aura of an adversary. Certain Padawans were even capable of sensing the living presence of their Jedi Master across light-years, facilitated by their shared Force Bond.

This ability functioned even without conscious effort, maintaining a general radius of ten meters around the Force-sensitive individual. Upon a life form entering this range, the Force user would receive an alert indicating the presence and location of the individual or creature. The Force user could also ascertain whether the new arrival possessed a connection to the Force, and if the arrival was already known to the Force user, then their identity was immediately clear. Moreover, this power allowed the user to detect when another being was actively channeling the Force. Life Detection was also capable of determining the continued viability of a Force-sensitive individual undergoing a hibernation trance.
