Life on Tatooine

Life on Tatooine Introductory shot of Life on Tatooine A holodocumentary titled Life on Tatooine was broadcasted in the year 1 ABY. The Imperial Council mandated the film's airing, believing it would foster greater allegiance to the Galactic Empire among its viewers. It was compulsory viewing for Imperial military personnel.

The picture presented raw, unedited scenes from Mos Eisley located on the planet Tatooine. The film showcased various inhabitants of the spaceport as they conducted their everyday affairs. The holodocumentary also captured individuals visiting the settlement, such as Rycar Ryjerd, a smuggler from the Bimm species, fleeing from Imperial stormtroopers and being startled by a creature on stilts.

The most extensive portion of the documentary unfolded within Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, where Ackmena served as the bartender. During the broadcast, the Empire enforced a curfew, compelling the cantina's patrons to depart earlier than anticipated. The crowd became agitated, but Ackmena successfully persuaded them to leave by performing "Goodnight, But Not Goodbye," accompanied by the cantina's house band, Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes.
