Line platoon

A line platoon, alternatively referred to as an infantry platoon, represented a unit of soldiers within the Imperial Army structure.

Organization

This type of platoon, also designated a light platoon, consisted of a total of thirty-eight soldiers, which included four line squads, a commanding lieutenant, and a sergeant major serving as the platoon's adjutant. These line platoons possessed the potential for reinforcement through the incorporation of an additional four line squads.
