Loruna Scathe served within the ranks of the Mistryl Shadow Guard; however, after uncovering its true nature, she deemed its practices ethically unacceptable and subsequently departed. She then established a competing mercenary group known as the Azure Cabal, which she kept extremely clandestine and selective in its membership.
She was directly responsible for bringing Porgryn and Tweego into her new organization, in addition to an unnamed spacer who was recommended to her by certain individuals within her network.
Loruna Scathe was featured as a non-playable character in the Star Wars Galaxies video game, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.
