Throughout the Elrood sector, Lud wielded power, possessed holdings, and commanded a crew of enforcers; however, his operations were primarily focused on Torina, Lanthrym, and Elrood. In these locations, Lud participated in activities such as predatory lending, extortion, underground trading, counterfeiting, and illicit trafficking. Seldom seen, Lud permitted the widespread, yet incorrect, assumption that he was a humanoid male. Lud and Boss Kaggle were competitors. Furthermore, Lud both built and managed the unauthorized spaceport known as Smugglers' Strip on Elrood.
