Lynwen Brennan

Lynwen Brennan, a CBE recipient, holds the position of President and General Manager for the Lucasfilm enterprise. Growing up in Tenby, Wales, Brennan dedicated a decade to visual effects software development, contributing to firms such as Parallax Software, Avid Technology, and Alias Wavefront, before her transition to Lucasfilm's visual effects division, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), in 1999. By 2009, Brennan had risen to the role of ILM's president, spearheading its expansion from its base in northern California within the United States, to establish studios in locations including Singapore, Vancouver, London, Sydney, and Mumbai. Further advancement came in 2015 when she was elevated to Executive Vice President of Lucasfilm, concurrently serving as the General Manager across all of the company's operational segments. In 2016, Queen Elizabeth II bestowed upon her the title of Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, recognizing her contributions to the visual effects sector in the United Kingdom.
