Mal, whose full name is Mahlnor, was a Twi'lek who knew Gial Ackbar. She was also known by the moniker "Mal."
The first appearance of Mahlnor was in the LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation trailer, which was released on June 21, 2022. The trailer itself did not mention her nickname, but the closed captions for the Twitter version of the trailer revealed that she was called Mal. Her complete name, Mahlnor, was revealed in the LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation special.
