Malachi Throne, born on December 1, 1928 and passing away on March 13, 2013, was a performer from the United States. He is best remembered for his work in Star Trek and the TV show It Takes a Thief from 1968. Throne made an impact as "Falseface" in the Batman television program and also lent his voice to "The Keeper" in "The Cage", the initial pilot episode of the Star Trek program from 1966.
Thorne was the narrator for the initial preview of the original Star Wars movie. Later, Thorne narrated the 1980 audio adaptation of the movie titled The Story of The Empire Strikes Back.
