Malanose, situated in the Outer Rim of the galaxy and part of the Gree Enclave, was a significant world in the legends of the Star Wars universe. It acted as the main hub for the Gree civilization's Crafter and Researcher castes.
In the distant past, when the Gree civilization thrived, Malanose was replete with cities dedicated to the creation of innovative devices and technologies. However, as their civilization declined, these structures were plundered for any remaining artifacts, which were then moved to other planets within the Gree Enclave. Only the most massive relics, such as the Totth'k Lotos, were left behind in the deserted cities.
A standard day on Malanose lasted 18 hours, and a year on the planet consisted of 320 local days.
