The Clan Malvina, alternatively referred to as the Malvina clan, was a Nyriaanan clan that inhabited the world of Nyriaan.
As the Galactic Republic neared its end, the Trandoshan named Yrssk became affiliated with several members of the Malvina clan. While Republic operatives on Nyriaan were searching for Yrssk as part of their investigation into the Deluge Experiment, the Trandoshan tried to trick the Malvina clan into launching an attack on the operatives. Yrssk exploited the clan's aversion to miners by informing the clan's chieftains that the agents were miners surveying a potential new mining site. The clan elders remained unconvinced by his assertions, and they sent out several small reconnaissance teams to determine if any intrusions onto the clan's territory were occurring.
