Maria, a Lambda-class shuttle, served the Rebel Alliance throughout the duration of the Galactic Civil War.

The crucial [Death Star plans](/article/death_star_plans/legends], newly obtained by AX-235, were transported by the Maria to Leia Organa aboard the CR90 corvette known as the Tantive IV, a delivery mission. This handover was interrupted when the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Immortal arrived, deploying Assault Gunboats prior to entering hyperspace. Despite this, Rebel X-wings, under the command of Keyan Farlander, eliminated the Imperial fighters, allowing the Maria to get away after the successful plan transfer.
