Marvin Goldhar


Marvin Goldhar, a Canadian actor, (born September 5, 1934 and passed away on March 31, 2002), is most recognized for his vocal performances in both animated shows and TV movies. He was the voice actor for Trome 2 in the Ewoks series, and he also voiced multiple characters in Star Wars Droids.

Career

His voice acting resume includes characters such as Cedric Sneer in The Raccoons, Mr. Weatherbee in The New Archies, and Bronto Thunder and Bonehead in Dinosaucers. Furthermore, he lent his voice to various television programs and films, including Ewoks, Star Wars Droids, Garbage Pail Kids, AlfTales, The Legend of Zelda, The Nutcracker Prince, Babar, Highlander: The Animated Series, Maxie's World, Beverly Hills Teens, The Care Bears, Rupert, C.O.P.S., Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, ALF: The Animated Series, Sylvanian Families, Starcom, Police Academy, WildC.A.T.s, The Magic School Bus, Little Rosey, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, Dog City, A Cosmic Christmas and My Pet Monster. Goldhar also took on live-action roles, such as Mogul in Mafia Princess, Gareth Williamson in Night Heat, Grandpa Maurice in The Zack Files, Ron Morrow in Hot Money, Detective #1 in A Deadly Business, Larry Sr. in Big Deal, Burt Horowitz in Deadline, Phil King in The Last Polka, Harry in Club Land, and he even made a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live.

Personal life

In 2002, he passed away in Toronto, Ontario. Jeff Goldhar, his son, is currently employed by CBC television as a director/producer.
