Those Sith Bladeborn known as Masterblades were masters of weaponry; they had to have been victorious in at least ten duels facing adversaries wielding lightsabers. This title represented immense honor, highlighting the wielder's prowess in overcoming the favored weapon of the Jedi, or even fellow Sith. To denote their elevated rank, these masterblades received a Sith Tremor Sword, a weapon they employed with deadly effect against those they opposed.
