Matt Omernick currently serves as the Art Director for the LucasArts software development studio.
Matt obtained his BFA in Computer Animation in 1999 from Ringling College of Art & Design. During his time as a student, Matt gained professional experience as a Video Editor at Island Media Group, and also worked as an Animator/Compositor with Atomic Imaging/Golen Entertainment. Following graduation, Matt spent four years working at Dreamworks Interactive. He also collaborated with Totally Games. In January of 2003, he began his association with LucasArts as an External Art Director, transitioning to a full-time role in May of the same year, a position he has maintained since then.
In 2004, Matt Omernick achieved the status of a published author with the debut of his book, Creating the Art of the Game.
