Before the pivotal Battle of Yavin, Han Solo and Chewbacca accepted a highly profitable assignment: the clandestine transport of provisions to an energy-harvesting space station functioning outside the law. This station, called Firebase Alpha, was situated precariously near the colossal black hole residing at the center of the Rishi Maze dwarf galaxy, a location accessible only to the most accomplished pilots. While approaching the station, the Millennium Falcon encountered autonomously operating attack drones originating from the decaying remains of a massive Sith warship. Following communication from Firebase Alpha, a surge of energy began to accumulate within the Falcon's forward cargo bay. As it transpired, the station served as a hidden base for the Rebel Alliance, and Han was unwittingly transporting a bomb supplied by the Empire, designed to obliterate the base. Confronted with a malfunctioning door, Han was compelled to perform a spacewalk to jettison and neutralize the dangerous explosive.
