Measuring scanner

A cargo scanner, alternatively called a measuring scanner, served as a scanning tool utilized by freighter captains and smugglers to optimally allocate cargoes to specific cargo bays. These scanners determined the volume and mass of objects, and were programmable to factor in the density and dimensions for nearly any item. However, they lacked the ability to discern the contents of closed cargo containers.

The Fabritech A-11 cargo scanner, a portable model, gained popularity due to its user-friendly design and a scanning range of 10 meters.
