Memory bank
A memory bank, also known as a memory core, data bank, or memory log, was a component utilized in droids for the purpose of storing information.
Production Notes
The phrase "memory log" initially appeared within the pages of Galladinium's Fantastic Technology. Subsequently, it resurfaced in "The Deserter"; however, the episode guide associated with that episode employed the expression "memory banks," thus solidifying "memory log" as a secondary designation for a memory core.
