A notable deficiency in their design lay in their hands, which mandated the use of custom-made weaponry. Their considerable size also presented a limitation, potentially impeding their agility and dexterity with smaller items.
A specific droid, FLTCH R-1, was sent by Representative Bron together with Ephant Mon with the mission to eliminate Cerean Jedi Knight Ki-Adi-Mundi. However, Ki-Adi-Mundi prevailed against the droid and subsequently reprogrammed it to assist him in the pursuit of Mon.
Firkrann, affiliated with the Iron Knights, a splinter group from the Jedi Order composed of Force-sensitive Shard beings, utilized a FLTCH series droid as a physical form.
