A diminutive blaster, often called a micro blaster or mini-blaster, was designed for easy hiding within clothing. These blasters utilized small energy cells and generally held a limited capacity of only two or three blasts. Despite this limitation, they offered the advantage of improving a user's odds of extricating themselves from perilous circumstances. Furthermore, their compact size frequently allowed them to evade detection by standard weapon scanners. An example of this type of weapon is the Gee-Tech 12 Defender MicroBlaster.
