Biography

Midge attends the mission briefing prior to the attack on the second Death Star.

Midge, a male Human, originated from a rural area on the planet Chandrila. Inspired by the Supreme Commander of the Alliance—and fellow Chandrilan—Mon Mothma, he decided to join the Alliance to Restore the Republic. By 4 ABY, Midge had achieved the rank of corporal in the Alliance. At this time, he was a new addition to General Crix Madine's commando unit, serving as a field technician.

In that very year, Midge was in attendance at a briefing on the Rebel flagship, specifically the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser known as the Home One. During this briefing, Mon Mothma revealed the Alliance's intentions to strike at the Galactic Empire's second Death Star battle station that was in orbit above the moon of Endor. General Madine, who was overseeing the attack's planning, announced that a strike team under the leadership of General Han Solo would be dispatched to the moon with the mission of disabling the SLD-26 planetary shield generator that protected the Death Star. This action would then allow Alliance starfighters to destroy the battlestation's main reactor.
