The governing body known as the Mining Council acted as the board for the Atrakenite Guild of Miners. This council held the responsibility of supervising both Atrakenite miners and refugees residing on the moon Trilos. Its membership comprised eight individuals: six were direct lineage of the original mining families who inhabited Trilos prior to the Battle of Atraken, while the remaining two represented the refugee families who escaped Atraken after the battle that ravaged their homeworld.
