Ministry of Industry (Alliance)

The Ministry of Industry functioned as a government department within the Civil Government of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, holding responsibility for overseeing the Alliance's industrial production. This encompassed everything from substantial manufacturing facilities located on protected safe worlds and Alliance-controlled planets like Mon Calamari, to smaller, more discreet cottage industry operations distributed across the galaxy. The larger production centers were dedicated to manufacturing essential military resources like starships and artillery that were difficult to obtain by other means, whereas the smaller facilities focused on producing items such as medpacs, personal weapons, and apparel.
