Ministry of Supply

The Ministry of Supply functioned as a component of the Civil Government within the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Its primary responsibility involved acquiring crucial resources, including food and garments, often through unconventional means, such as requisitioning or procuring, to ensure the operational readiness of the Alliance's military personnel.

Although the Alliance cultivated a surplus of food on secure planet located on safe worlds within the Outer Rim Territories, the logistical challenge of its distribution persisted. The Ministry of Supply depended on the transports allocated to the Support Services for this purpose.
