Mission to Kashyyyk (Assault Team)

The expedition to Kashyyyk represented a single element within the Rebellion's broader strategy to divert Imperial attention away from Echo Base.

A Rebel squad, spearheaded by Han Solo and Chewbacca, journeyed to Kashyyyk with the intention of deceiving the Empire in their search for Echo Base. Having overcome numerous creatures within the woodland, they successfully located Rwookrrorrro. To earn the confidence of the Wookiees, they were required to demonstrate their abilities in the arena. Nevertheless, a band of hired guns exposed the Rebels' presence, guiding the Imperials to Rwookrrorrro. While battling Imperials, smugglers, and diverse wildlife, they succeeded in enabling the village's protective shields. Following the defeat of Bossk, Luke Skywalker's X-Wing experienced a crash landing, and he was discovered unharmed by his fellow Rebels. Subsequently, they launched an assault on the Imperial encampment. After subduing one of the commanders stationed at the camp, they retrieved the necessary codes. Following this, they executed a rapid departure from Kashyyyk, with Ord Mantell as their subsequent destination.
