Mkbuto Seatree Preserve

Mkbuto Seatree Preserve constituted a submerged woodland situated on Dac.

This Preserve, stretching for hundreds of kilometers, was positioned along the planetary equator of Dac. It gained its protected status due to the abundant presence of arboreal and algal marine life, and it further served as a habitat for a myriad of marine animal species.

In the nascent period of Mon Calamari society, the Preserve boasted a significant population. However, the identification of a tectonic boundary traversing the area rendered it unsuitable for prolonged settlement. The native fauna and flora flourished, ultimately engulfing the remnants of the ancient Mon Calamari settlements.

Gial Ackbar kept a modest residence within the Preserve for purposes of contemplation.
