The MOD-17 was a cargo-carrying freighter manufactured by the Loronar Corporation. Its overall size reached five hundred and fifty meters long.
This freighter, the MOD-17, was designed with four distinct modular cargo areas, each adaptable for diverse payloads. For instance, the internal conditions could be changed to create aquatic or gaseous environments, or remain as a standard, shielded space. A typical MOD-17 freighter could hold 200,000 metric tons of freight inside, and it had space for as many as thirty passengers. Operating it demanded a crew of fifty individuals, and it included an integrated hyperdrive system.
