This apparatus consisted of an exoskeleton structure. Constructed from synthetic ceramics, this frame produced a force field. This field was projected between the cage's bars and along the frame's interior. The force field was electrically charged to prevent prisoners from reaching through the bars or attempting to break through the cage. The outer frame rails were insulated for easy movement, enabling someone to move the cage without being shocked. However, incorrect assembly could nullify this insulation.
