Mordekai was a bogwing, a species detailed here, and he served as a companion animal to Reom, a Twi'lek who presided over IsoTech. Reom kept Mordekai with him on the Wheel, a space station housing IsoTech's central offices. During the era of the Galactic Civil War, Mordekai was there when Reom convened with a team of independent contractors on the station. Reom's purpose was to enlist them for a mission to Cholganna, a planet, with the aim of locating the vanished starship called the Sa Nalaor.
