Morti served as the agent for Shirley, also known as the "Chanteuse of the Stars", who was a well-known singer during the time of the Galactic Civil War; you can read more about her here. In the year 3 ABY, Shirley's refusal to sing at a diplomatic summit held on Kabray Station caused Morti a great deal of anxiety; more on this event can be found here. Morti subsequently confused Leia Organa, the leader of the Rebel Alliance, with the "Chanteuse" because Leia had disguised herself as Shirley to escape Imperial stormtroopers; you can read more about the Rebel Alliance here. He then escorted her onto the stage to perform in Shirley's place.
