Msst, the native planet of Brakiss, existed in the Mid Rim region of the galaxy. This minor planet was located within the Msst system and once housed a fortified base for the Galactic Empire. Despite the Empire's supposed departure following the Invasion of Bakura, Luke Skywalker journeyed to Msst to find Brakiss. Almost immediately after his arrival, Skywalker faced an ambush by a band of mistmakers.
