MSW-9 Molecular Stiletto

A combined high-tech instrument and close-combat weapon, the MSW-9 Molecular Stiletto from Xana Exotic Arms' resembled the shape of a datapad pen.

When a control button was pressed, a monomolecular blade with a length of 30 centimeters shot forth from the device's end. This blade was only one molecule thick, and while less durable than other blades, it could inflict considerable harm. Even though it was capable of slicing through nearly anything except armored plating, the user was required to cut with precision and at a reduced pace, or the blade would break, rendering the device useless.
