Mu-2 long range shuttle

The Mu-2 long range shuttle, manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems, was a scout ship designed for long-range missions, with a length of 20 meters.

Characteristics

A Mu-2 class flies over a wrecked SCT Scout Craft

This vessel was capable of accommodating a pilot, a co-pilot, and 14 troops, in addition to 100 metric tons of cargo and enough consumables for 6 months. For interstellar travel, it utilized a Class 2 hyperdrive, supported by a Class 20 backup. Its atmospheric speed reached 850 kilometers per hour in an atmosphere. For defense, it featured deflector shields and a pair of fire-linked forward laser cannons. Two distinct models were manufactured. Model 1 featured an increased seating capacity, accommodating 24 passengers. Model 2, while having fewer seats, included four private sleeping cabins and a small kitchen area.

History

The Mu-2 saw service with organizations such as the Radell Mining Corporation, the Galactic Empire, and the New Republic. Notably, Lando Calrissian owned a customized Mu-2 named the Cobra.
